Loke (Originally LocKe). Dem’s Wife, and was named after Locke. Dem is actually named for Demosthenes…. If you’re wondering why, it’s from a series of books by Orson Scott Card – the Ender Series. I always liked the rapport that Ender and his sister had with each other, and the witty way they would stir people into a frenzy on the Ender version of the internet using the names Demosthenes and Locke – and I also like the historical position behind the two names as well. That’s not to say that I would think that Loke and Dem are related, just that I imagine that they would have a similar relationship.
